Our Junior Safety Inspector event is aimed at children 4-10 years old, but all ages are welcome. Our indoor village includes a road, beach, train, bus, house and other real life scenarios - all under one roof! The whole family can join in with our practical and hands on activities, such as escaping a house fire, calling 999, getting on a train and using our road crossings.
Visitors complete a self-guided treasure hunt, solve clues and practice being safe whilst exploring our learning village along the way. Children receive a certificate when they qualify as Junior Safety Inspectors after successfully completing the tour.
First Steps to Safety for ages 2-4 on 25th February from 9.45 until 12.00. Booking essential via www.safewise.org. Cost £5.98
Our indoor learning village has a road, beach, train, house and garden, shop, park, bus and cars- all life sized and under one roof.
Children can learn age-appropriate life skills with us through:
- Role play
- Dress up
- Matching activities
- Doing i.e. using our road crossing or shopping for healthy foods at our shop
The event is for 2-4 year olds and you get around 1.5 hours in the village to complete the self-guided tour. Adults are given a written guide that tells them where to go and what to do at each place. Children take home an activity pack, sticker and certificate once they’ve finished. We recommend one adult for every four children.
