You can get involved in a number of different ways...
Arts Ambassadors: for Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September from 12:00 – 17:00 and from 17:00 – 22:00. As an arts ambassador you will be assigned to an artist, you’ll get to know them and their performance or artwork and will act as a link between them and the public during the event.
Box Office: people needed almost every evening, between Sunday 22nd September and Sunday 13th October, to help take and check tickets at Shelley Theatre, Urban Reef, The Pier Theatre, The Winchester, The Royal Bath Hotel and Bournemouth Natural Science Society.
Information Tent: get lowdown on all of the festival’s shows, installations and events. You share your new found knowledge and help the public find their way around the festival programme and get to their favourite shows and installations.
Stewarding: Be the eyes and ears of the festival at one of our many events. You will be the one showing people where they need to go, telling them what they can see and where and keeping an eye out for the safety of the public while they enjoy our awe inspiring events.
Parade Managers: a few switched-on people who don’t mind a bit of public speaking amidst the hustle and bustle, to help manage groups of performers in a parade. We will need you from about 4:30pm on Sunday 22nd September for about 3 hours as well as a rehearsal and briefing on the Sunday 15th September from about 1pm – 3pm.
