On 1st September there will be a By-election in Kinson North for a councillor for the ward. 

Polling will take place on Thursday 1st September and polling hours will be from 7am to 10pm. The deadline to register in time for this election will be midnight on 15th August.

The deadline for requesting, changing or cancelling a proxy for this election will be no later than 5pm on 23rd August. You can visit this webpage to download the postal or proxy vote application forms.

Councillor Turtle, one of three Councillors serving Kinson North, has been a Bournemouth Councillor since May 2015. Councillor Turtle commented “It’s been a privilege serving Bournemouth Council and the residents of Kinson North but I’ve taken the personal decision to live abroad; I’m confident however that I leave Kinson North in the good hands of my fellow ward Councillors Angiolini and Battistini, and I’m sure they and my eventual replacement, will continue to serve the people of Kinson North to the best of their ability.”
