The council has confirmed that following a successful tender process, Track Systems based in Shropshire have been awarded the contract to construct a new railway track and engine shed at Poole Park Railway.

Following five months of work, the new playpark at Branksome Recreation Ground was officially opened on Tuesday 29 January by the Mayor of Poole, much to the delight of local children.
