Three new modern family homes have been developed by BCP Council’s housing delivery team at a former garage site in Ibbertson Way, Strouden Park, Bournemouth. These new homes will be ready to welcome families following the completion of the building works on 29 June.

We were delighted to see a new business open in Wallisdown and popped into Ashley Automotive to have a look around - and try the coffee.

Local residents who have been notified to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace will receive a welfare call from BCP Council’s Together We Can (TWC) team with offer of support and advice.

Local Libraries Due to Re-Open This Month

Bournemouth and Poole's libraries are due to re-open this month after the Coronavirus lockdown.

Local residents who are signed up to the Home Library Service will soon benefit from the reintroduction of delivery of books to their doorsteps.

As part of the next stage of BCP Council’s major infrastructure improvements in the area Wallisdown Road, including its junctions with Alton Road and Talbot Drive, will be closed for approximately two and half weeks from Saturday 4 April 2020.

Relocation of local play area

The first steps towards the development and creation of a new community hub in Bourne, Alderney are underway, with works due to start on the relocation and installation of a new play area in February 2020.
